Maxwell College of Advanced Technology Dental Hygiene students develop as primary oral-healthcare providers guided by the principles of social justice, specializing in culturally sensitive, client-centered, evidence-based services. These services relate to clinical therapy and oral health education and health promotion for individuals and groups, in a variety of clinical and community-based settings for diverse clients throughout their life cycle.Dental hygienists are professionals, advocates, communicators, critical thinkers, and coordinators collaborating with clients and other health professionals to enhance quality of life for all.
